Started reading Mere Christianity, by a Mister CS Lewis. Starts a bit small and dry but I know this is just the appetizer and I can smell incredible things going on in the kitchen for the remainder of the meal’s courses. I decided I’ve got to write something like this, but for the times. All these atheists are mopping the floor of the bestseller’s list, the talking minds, the scientists, the waning general consensus, especially in China’s rise to global power, it’s time for the return volley, the counterpoint. The internet’s perspective on the matter might just be poisoning my thoughts, but I can’t deny it’s a true reflection I see everywhere else I look. Secularism. Denial. Maybe I aught not to isolate them on the matter: even those who’d call themselves “spiritual” got a lot to learn. I know this, for that is me myself absolutely.

Once I got used to it, there’s something comforting about this ridiculous heat. Something vibrant. I need all the reminders I can now, that I am alive, and there is still so much left to be done. A recent event is turning my thoughts all around. No matter the outcome, I’m very different today, that is for sure.
