President Bush regrets his legacy as man who wanted war

Whenever I see anybody trying to pull off apologist bullshit like this, my mind races back to that scene in Twelve Monkeys where Jeffrey Goines kidnaps his father, who already knows about his plans. Dr. Goines informs Brad Pitt he’s taken steps to try and prevent them. The response: “Too late! Too late!” Nothing anybody does is ever going to bring those brave men and women back, not any supposition about one’s choice of verbal rhetoric, or attempting to portray oneself as a compassionate pious man, who views war as a last resort. Lies. Your want to change people’s perspectives comes long long overdue. Too late. Too late.
